A form of humor is a personality trait that varies between individuals. By dividing the form of humor into 2 major categories: positive humor and negative humor

Positive humor (Adaptive Humor Style) is humor that expresses self-acceptance, fun, relaxation, happiness, consisting of

  1. Self-promoting humor (Self-enhancing Humor)

Negative humor (Maladaptive Humor Style) is humor that expresses aggression. cause damage or embarrassment to others, including:

is the use of humor to reconcile, sarcastize, ridicule, laugh at others It is the use of emotions to harm another person either intentionally or unintentionally, such as making fun of another person’s weaknesses. Or it’s an expression of humor without being careful about the impact that will happen to other people. bring uneasiness to those around Individuals with an aggressive sense of humor tend to be indifferent to the feelings of others. and use humor by involving others Harassing and insulting others through this type of humor deteriorates interpersonal relationships. until reaching the level of social relations
