What are the statistics that are handled in the Axies?

Before breeding Axies, it is important to know everything about them. Speaking of stats, the Axies handle four, which influence the game when going down or up, so it’s important to know how to handle them. They are the following:

Health

It is the ability that our Axie has to receive and withstand a certain number of attacks and be harmed by them.

Moral

They are the different opportunities that the Axie has to perform critical attacks and heavily damage our enemy.

Ability

Also called Skill, it is the additional damage that results from attacks together. In other words, the number of cards or moves.

Speed

The speed of each Axie determines the order in which the combo attacks. It also reduces the chance of receiving a critical attack.

How do you identify the amount of attribute that each of the Axies has?

Each Axie’s attributes are determined by its body parts and  the classes it belongs to. The classes are Aquatic, Plant, Reptile, Beast, Bug, and Bird .

How are the battles in the arena of Axie Infinity carried out?

The battles in the arena are carried out in two different ways, through the Initial Mechanics or with the Advanced Mechanics, here we explain the differences between them.

initial mechanics

The game consists of defeating the three Axies of the opposing team and keeping the three of our team alive.

The movements or attacks that each Axie makes are the cards that each one has (it can be played with a minimum deck of 24 cards), and the idea is to plan each attack by thinking and analyzing each movement well that points to high chances of winning .

The abilities that the cards have are Energy, which grants 2 energy per turn to each player. The Attack, or the damage you take as a debuff from the attack. And the Shield, which serves to reduce the damage generated by using certain cards.

The Axies possess abilities that come from four of the six parts of their body ( head, back, mouth, and tail ), also designated to bring two cards to the player.

The used cards go to the discard deck and become available again after several turns after using them in battle. The order in which the Axies in our set attack is determined by the speed of each, with the fastest obviously going first. There are two phases in the game:

Selection phase:  It is where the cards are chosen, in a time limit of sixty seconds . You start with 6 cards and 3 are added for each round. In each round you can have a maximum of 9 cards in hand.

Battle Phase: Once the cards are selected, the battle in the arena begins. Some tricks that can be used are:

The chain, when two or three Axies use cards of the same class for an attack . The combo, which is when an Axie uses more than one card in the same round, has the disadvantage of increasing damage. The Axie’s health could be taken with lives, as when it reaches zero, the Axie dies or goes into last stand.

advanced mechanics

This state is an option for an Axie killed by a slight margin of damage to continue in battle . This chance depends on the morale points the Axie has and can be calculated with this formula: (Hit Points ―Health― Remaining * Morale Points / 100).

In this phase the Axie does not have a shield and is in a charged state. Even so, she can attack and receive attacks to protect the rest of her team from the enemy.

What can I do to increase my chances of winning my battles?

To win in the arena it is necessary to have experience, organize and plan each attack well, choose the best cards and use them at the right time. Nothing that complex once you learn to master it, but it certainly requires time, dedication, patience and a good portion of investment .
